Albert Chiozzi - President, Broadband Infrastructures, LLC

Mr. Chiozzi is the Founder and President of Broadband Infrastructures and a thirty-three year veteran of the Information & Communications Technology industry. Prior to founding BBI, he was with Wang Laboratories, Inc (now Getronics), holding various engineering and management positions in his 22 years with the company. He began his career in the cable television industry, building CATV systems for Warner Cable (now Time-Warner Cable) and Continental Cablevision (now Comcast).

Mr. Chiozzi was instrumental in the deployment of the country's first Broadband Wireless Internet offering (serving 7 major metro areas) and first combined Voice/Internet over DSL offering (serving 10 major metro areas). He co-managed the deployment of the then largest corporate Wireless LAN. He was involved in the franchising, engineering and/or construction of over 30 cable television systems throughout New England. Albert has designed and deployed large-scale broadband systems for twenty-six Fortune 500 companies, seven federal government agencies and five state government agencies.

Tony Dubendorf - Ph.D., CWDP, CISM

Mr. Dubendorf is a voting member of the IEEE 802.11(x), 802.16 and 802.15 Standards Committees and is a founding Board of Directors Member of the Mobile Health Care Alliance. He also serves on the Cybersecurity Initiative Working Group of the Chemical Industry Data Exchange (CIDX) as the Subject Matter Expert in Secure Mobility. Mr. Dubendorf’s past positions include Managing Director - Wireless Services (and a Senior Member of the Chief Security Officers staff) at Exodus/Cable & Wireless, Chief Wireless Technology Architect at Lucent Technologies, and General Manager / Principle Consultant at Diversified Technology Resources.

Tony has had a long and distinguished career in the Computer Sciences industry with over 30 years experience in Information Security and Wireless Technologies.  He is widely published and is recognized globally as one of the leading experts in his field. He has worked with major corporations and government entities in the planning, design and implementation of Mobile Data Technologies such as WLAN  and VoWiFi. He has conducted Physical and Security Audits for companies in various sectors including Utility, Manufacturing, and Telecommunications. These audits help establish compliance with FERC/NERC, Sarbanes-Oxley, HIPPA, and GLBA. He has also worked on implementation teams dealing in IT Governance, COBIT and ITIL.

Russell Stephens - President and CEO of NextGen Telecom Services Group, Inc.

Mr. Stephens is Co-Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of NextGen Telecom Services Group, Inc.. NextGen is a provider of fiber optic and network infrastructure engineering and construction services to telecom providers, educational institutions, goverment agencies, healthcare providers, general contractors and other business enterprises. He was Co-Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of Stargus, Inc., a developer of network and service management software solutions for broadband networks. The company was later acquired by C-Cor Electronics. Mr. Stephens joined Stargus from Pilot House Associates, LLC, (PHA) where he was a principal.  PHA is a Boston-based venture capital company that invests in early-stage Internet infrastructure, software, cable, telecommunications and network technology companies. 

Mr. Stephens was Senior Vice President of MediaOne’s Northeast Region with operational responsiblity for the company’s cable properties in Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Connecticut and New York.  The company was acquired by AT&T in August 2000.  He joined MediaOne’s predecessor Continental Cablevision in 1980 and held the positions of General Manager, District Manager and Vice President of Operations. Mr. Stephens is a past director of New England Cable News and a past president of both the New England Cable Television Association and the Cable Television Administration and Marketing Society of New England. He currently serves as a Director of Jedai Broadband Networks in Red Bank, New Jersey and is a Trustee of The Pike School in Andover, Massachusetts.

Chris Smith - Vice President of Vertek Corporation

Mr. Smith is the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Vertek Corporation. a leading provider of high value solutions for the telecom industry. He has over thirty years experience in various sales and marketing positions, including 18 years devoted to the communications marketplace.  Prior to joining Vertek, Chris held positions as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Telecom, Media and Network Division of Cap Gemini Ernst & Young and as Vice President of Sales for the Communications Division of Unisys Corporation. He has a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Miami. Recently, Chris served on the Board of Directors of the Alliance for Telecommunications Industry Solutions (ATIS).

Kurt Sippel - President and CEO of Applied Tech Solutions, Inc.

Mr. Sippel is the President and CEO of Applied Tech Solutions Inc., a Madison, WI based business technology consulting firm he started in 1999.  Prior to founding Applied Tech, Kurt spent eight years with the University of Wisconsin - Madison and its School of Public Policy & Public Administration.  He established the first production Windows NT and Microsoft Exchange network on campus, and developed a training program for graduate students in which he taught data mining and technology usage as applies to areas of public policy. Kurt began his consulting career at the age of eighteen, working with various small businesses in Wisconsin. 

Richard Chiozzi - Founding Principal of Succesful Financial Solutions, Inc. (retired)

Mr. Chiozzi was the Founding Principal of Successful Financial Solutions, Inc., one of the mid-west’s largest “fee-only” financial planning and investment advisory firms. He was also Vice-President of Trust Business Development at First Hawaiian Bank and Senior Vice-President of the securities brokerage division of a Chicago bank. He was the first elected president of the Financial Planning Association of Illinois and sat on the regional boards of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors, the Financial Planning Association and the International Association for Financial Planning.

Mr. Chiozzi is a frequent contributor to leading financial publications and has hosted a finance-focused TV talk show in suburban Chicago. He is a Certified Financial Planner and was a Registered Securities Principal. Richard has been in the financial service industry since 1981 and has lectured at the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors' and the Financial Planning Association's national and regional conferences. Richard sold his Chicago firm in 2003 and retired with his wife and two sons to the shores of Long Island Sound in Connecticut.

John Stuart Cloud - President of Baytron Corporation, Inc

Mr. Cloud was President of Baytron Corporation (later purchased by M/A-COM Corporation) and President of Cloud & Company, a Boston-based public relations firm. He sat on the Board of Directors for both the Boy Scouts Of America and Chamberlin Junior College in Boston, MA. Mr. Cloud's diverse adventures as a 1950s TV show host, the owner of a private island, and a collaborator of Norman Rockwell, were featured in the Saturday Evening Post, Life and Readers Digest.  Mr. Rockwell used photographs taken by Mr. Cloud as the basis for some of his well known illustrations. Mr. Cloud passed away recently, but his influence was such that he still "advises" us through a remembrance of the ideals he represented.
