Broadband Infrastructures was created to help accelerate the deployment of broadband technology and to help remove those impediments created by needless complication. All too many mission-critical decisions have been unduly influenced by the blind acceptance of process theoreticians and technology generalists as "industry experts".  We believe it's time to move beyond the simplistic memorization and restatement of process templates and data sheets. At BBI we do consider the quality improvement principles of Six Sigma, and the service delivery methodologies of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL). These are indeed valuable frameworks, but they are also general applications that do not forego the need for extraordinary subject-matter expertise. We offer such expertise through a common sense application that considers both vertical industry specifics and corporate culture dynamics, as major components of the overall solution. We do not believe that consistency and customization need be mutually exclusive.
